On May 15th, 2010, First Lutheran held a festival to commemorate the restoration of our towers. The ravages of time, weather and neglect had compromised the structural integrity of our towers,built in the early 1900s. In early Winter, the Congregation voted the funds necessary to complete the restoration, and the six week project began in early May

Over 100 folks showed up, musicians played, the pastor gave a liturgical blessing, the engineers and project managers explained what they were doing, and great food was had by all.
