The Council is the governing body of the congregation. The Council and the pastor conduct the oversight of the life and activities of the congregation, with particular responsibilities of overseeing committee work, maintaining strong and good communication and relationships between leaders, working in partnership with other levels of the church (The Synod and national church, the ELCA) and responsibility for the financial and property matters of the congregation. It has no minimum number of members, but a maximum of twenty five. Members are elected for three year terms at the June semi-annual meeting. Officers are President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.
