This group focuses on providing our members opportunities to help serve others throughout the year. Service projects have included: collecting used luggage for DCF children, giving nearly new towels to the Friendship Center, providing school supplies to Tanzanian children, collecting tee shirts for conversion to diapers for Honduras, sale of energy efficient compact fluorescent bulbs, developing and planting the Community Garden, Christmas “giving tree” to benefit Friendship Center children, recycling, exploring the possible sponsorship of a refugee family, supporting the International Seafarers Mission, making and collecting Hygiene and Baby Care Kits for earthquake survivors in Haiti.
