FLCR currently has three Bible study groups:

1) A weekly group that meets at 10:00 AM Thursdays, except in the summer. Past studies have been The Book of Acts, The Gospel of Mark and The Gospel of Luke. Occasionally a popular book is read, most recently Rev. Heidi Neumark’s Breathing Space.

2) A bi-monthly study group meeting at 7 AM on Wednesday mornings at Paradise Pizza restaurant, 10 East St., New Britain, CT. Although books of the Bible are the standard texts, in the fall of 2008, the group will begin the year engaged with Mark Alan Powell’s How Lutherans Read the Bible.

NEW! Our third & newest Bible study now follows Wednesday night pasta supper, beginning at 6:45 PM and lasting about 45 minutes. We study the Book of Faith (the Bible) Bible studies, using materials which are brand new from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
