Since 2006 FLCR has entered a team each May at“Race in the Park” i, New Britain’s premier fund raising event for breast cancer research. The 5K race/walk begins and ends in Walnut Hill Park. on the Saturday prior to Mother’s Day. Since 2006 FLCR has raised hundreds of dollars for this worthy charity.
